New asparagus varieties from Bejo

Bejo has introduce two new varieties;

The latest introduction of Bejo for the cultivation of white asparagus is Prius, before known as 2900. Prius is a very early variety with a good spear thickness and a excellent tip closure.  Prius has healthy and stable foliage.

Earlier Bejo has introduce Cygnus (2901), this mid-early variety characterizes itself with a very good  and uniform spear thickness and that is why this variety is suitable for close planting and double row systems. The yield of Cygnus is very high and the foliage is stable. At this moment we still have plants available of Cygnus.
