June 2017 - Sunny Start for the Allegro!

A catchy start. The presentation of the FF1602 summarized in three words. Under a radiant sun, the new 'Fresh Forward' variety was ‘baptized’ on Monday evening, May 16th. More than 150 interested people made the trip to Oberkirch, at the foot of the Black Forest, all expecting to see this new promising strawberry variety with their own eyes.

Allegro, that's the name of the new Fresh Forward shoot; An original Italian music phrase that guarantees a high music pace, which symbolically means the same as ‘lively, excited, happy’. Something our Allegro did with all the interested people this evening. On the tour at the Huberhof – thanks for the terrific organization - the attendants could see that the Allegro deserved it’s name. The strawberry plants and its strawberries proved to be a pleasure for the eye. The aroma and taste took all the doubts, as far as they were, away.

Excitedly, after the official part, the interested parties returned to the presentation room, where it was time for a drink and a delicious evening. And while the sun dropped very slowly behind the Black Forest mountains, it was clear to everyone that there was appearing a beautiful future on the horizon for the Allegro...
