Flynt
Flynt is a late variety and a good alternative to Faith, with a similar harvest pattern but higher fruit quality and more first-class fruit. The strawberries are bright red, cone-shaped and less susceptible to bruising, even in warm conditions. The plant grows compactly with upright leaves, allowing for a higher planting density than Faith. The clusters also remain short, which means the fruit is better protected from rain and sun. The harvest time is comparable to Faith and can be delayed by covering with straw. Thanks to its firm structure, good shelf life and attractive appearance, Flynt is suitable for both direct sales and retail.
