Ferris is a highly productive everbearing variety from Flevo Berry, known for its robustness and consistent fruit quality. The strawberries are shiny, large, bright red and fresh in taste, with a high yield of first-class fruit. Ferris is suitable for open field and substrate cultivation and continuously produces new flower clusters, resulting in almost no dip in yield. The strong flower branches protrude above the foliage, which facilitates harvesting and thinning. The variety is highly resistant to diseases such as Phytophthora cactorum and mildew and is highly resistant to rain. Thanks to the uniform harvest and attractive appearance, the fruits are ideal for retail channels, provided they are picked on time and their firmness is carefully monitored.
