The propagationfields for the production of tips are planted in March. The runners grow on straw to insure that the plant cannot grow into the soil. In the middle of July the first plants are harvested and graded. The tips are used to make tray-plants or misted tips.

Grading: the tips are graded very uniform. Criteria are the quantity and the quantity of small roots, the leafquantity and the diameter of the Rhizom.
