In this moment wir sell almost only green varities wich are normally also used for the production of white asparagus. The reason for this, is because these varieties are more productive and have a very good spearquality than the most green asparagusvarieties (anthocyan-free). A disadvantage is that these varieties
are not anthocyan-free. However in sales of the product this not causes a problem in most regions.
In case you use white asparagusvarieties for the production of green asparagus you have to take following in to account:
- yield is 30% less as it is when harvested white
- you need ± 30% more Pflant per Hectar
