The propagationfields for the production of frigoplants are planted from March until mid April. Normally the harvest of these fields and the grading of these plants starts at the end of november and goes on until the end of December or mid Januar. The plants are stored in our own coolstarages and are cooled at a temperature between -1,5 and -2,0 °C.

Gradings: the frigoplants are sorted, depending to the variety, in two to four gradings. Criteria are the diameter of the Rhizome and the quantity and the length of the roots
